1 – NEW FLOWERS
Happy Saturday! I can’t believe we are nearing the end of July. Summer is flying. It always does! I snapped some pics of these flowers in our front yard. We planted them new a few months ago and I want to document their progress!
The rose bushes in the middle are mostly done blooming for now and the lavender in the back will grow over time. I can’t wait to see this spot next summer when everything is taller and in full bloom!
2 – HOUSE IN ORDER

Of course everyone came home and my house was a disaster again two days later but it sure felt good while it lasted!
3/4 – WEARING LATELY/N SALE
I’ve been living in these earrings from the N sale. They are a perfect size and look so real!
Addison and I also picked up these matching sweatshirts for our morning walks (so cute!). We’ve had a lot of cool, cloudy weather on the coast this summer which is nice but also means that the heat is yet to come. I bet we are sweating in our Halloween costumes this October! Ad loves the matching zip fleece hoodie too. We tried the pants and didn’t love the fit.
LOVE this luggage and it’s still in stock! We have a couple of trips planned for the fall and I can’t wait to use these.

I snapped this running out the door half ready! These sneakers are so cute and go with everything. Still in stock in some sizes! The rib sweater tank has been on repeat for me too and it’s also still available in a few sizes.

One of the items you all loved the most from my N sale posts are the soft stretch underwear! It made me happy because I felt a little silly sharing this pic.. ha. Still in stock and a great deal during the sale.

Ending this already too long post with a few recent pics! We had so much fun with my brother in town. Lots of laughing and Padre games for my cute nephew’s 12th birthday. It felt like a birthday weekend for Kenny too because he was so happy to have people around who actually care about baseball.. ha.
I’ve been chilling with these two non stop and don’t want our time together to end! We love our Starbucks work sessions. I bring a Coke Zero in with me every time but the people who work at our local Starbucks know us well and don’t mind. We are keeping them in business with Addison’s pink drink obsession.
Lots of date nights with this one.

This is another fun restaurant we tried recently. It’s called The Marine Room in La Jolla and is so cool. Especially during high tide! You feel like you are sitting right on the ocean because you are. :)
I couldn’t really capture how beautiful it was to watch the sun go down while we were eating. The waves just slap against the windows!
This is a view from above when it was darker. Isn’t that the coolest!? Definitely something fun to book if you are local or visiting San Diego.

Well, If I ever get back to Ca. I am going to the restaurant where you sit upon the ocean in La Jolla. I will skip Georges for this!!!! There was a place in Holland not far from Amsterdam, where there is a board walk that goes way out into the Nord Sea and you are out there in this round restaurant right UPON the water and waves. Just love it.
I love the ocean and beach walks but no longer swimming in it. Last trip to Ca. I was IN the water on the Strand beach early in the season (Late June/early July) and the water was so cold! I know you have sharks there because at a restaurant, the waiter pointed out to us the fins while pointing out into the water! We have sharks here now too and they say it is b/c our water in the Atlantic is now so warm in Southern N.E. Hmmmmm you have them with cold water and now we have them b/c our water is too warm???? Thats a head scratcher!
OK Erin, good choices on the baby wear for my new baby grand! Also ordering the make up brush and Q tip holders! Perfect!
Ha ha.. Sherri I NEVER swim in our beach here! It’s way too cold for me! It warms up a little in August/September when we get warmer weather but still. I’m a wimp with cold water! And sharks.. don’t even get me started. It stresses me out so much when my kids are swimming in the ocean.. I can hear the JAWS soundtrack the whole time! If you ever visit SD we will meet at the that restaurant in La Jolla and then go sit in the sand together on the beach like the smart women we are. Ha! ;)
Mine have both graduated (one just this spring), so I’m soaking up all the time before they fully launch. It’s a little sad not to be thinking about dorm needs for the fall, but she’s so glad to be done. :)
If you have a chance, would you mind sharing the jeans you’re wearing with the yellow top and the black sleeveless top (paired with the Nike shoes)?
Huge congrats on graduation! Such an exciting time even though it’s sad that launch time is around the corner! I wish I could link those jeans but they are both older pairs that have sold out. AG is the brand (for both!). If I ever find some similar I’ll link them on my blog!
Love your pictures of the Marine Room! I used to live in SD and dated a chef there about another lifetime ago. Nice reminder of how beautiful it is.
