Hello hello! I hope you had a great 4th of July weekend! Sharing some fun sales and pics from our 4th but I have to kick things off with my top picks from the N sale first! Ahhh! Excited it’s here! Such a fun sale and I’m heading into the store today to check things out. I always find new favorites when I try things on so I’ll follow up soon with a try on post but the items above are the things I’m most excited about at the moment! My T3 blow dryer broke two months ago (I’ve had it for years) so perfect timing to get a new one during the sale! The shoes and jeans are so good this year! I have more favorites in each category I’ll share soon too!

I can’t sleep without this now.. it stays on ALL night and keeps my lips so hydrated! I use it often during the day too!
Love these candle lighters.. I’m picking up a few more for fall! Getting excited for ALL the pumpkin spice candles. :)

A few pics from our weekend! Major advantage of having a teenage son? Letting him tote around your heavy backpack and luggage while you carry his light as a feather belongings. :)
We flew to SLC to meet family and then headed to Deer Valley for a few days. Addison hadn’t seen my family in a year so it was a happy reunion with her grandparents and cousins!
This pic was from last year at the cabin we rented for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. We loved it so much that we rented it again this year for the 4th!
It’s HUGE so we can easily fit 3 families and my parents and feel like we aren’t on top of each other.
But even better than that is the view!
From the back deck.. I could sit and stare at this all day long. Kenny and I are always happiest in the mountains! Kind of funny that we live by the beach because we would both take mountains over the beach any day. But I won’t complain about either. :)
The basement is a perfect spot for all the kids to hang. Boys last year..
and this year one year older. So happy together!
We did a quick grocery run and were laughing because I said we had to get Coke Zero, my dad wanted regular Coke and my mom needed her Diet Coke. Basically we’ll just take it all thank you very much! And thank you Kenny for lugging it all inside for us. Now it feels like home. :)
Usually we hit so many activities for the 4th but the kids are all growing up and the teens all wanted to sleep in and hang at the cabin! We had such a nice and relaxing long weekend.
We ate out, hiked mountains, talked for hours on the deck, watched movies, tried to make a homemade pizza and burned it miserably..
and watched lots of turkeys. And deer. Deer valley is full of deer. :)
Ellie couldn’t make it this year (pic of her with my dad last year) and we missed her so much! I’m already looking forward to when we’re all together again over the holidays.
Nothing like fireworks and family time. :)
